A complete KS2 Christmas concert script based on The Lion King, written for 32 children aged 7–11. The script runs for approximately 35 minutes and includes 7 scenes, taking children from the Pride Lands’ Festival of Stars through Simba’s exile and triumphant return.

The script features 7 songs: Circle of Life, I Just Can’t Wait to Be King, Be Prepared, Hakuna Matata, and Can You Feel the Love Tonight (all from the film), plus Roar by Katy Perry and We Are Family by Sister Sledge as the finale. Every child has a named speaking role, with parts ranging from lead characters (Simba, Nala, Mufasa, Scar, Rafiki, Timon and Pumbaa) to ensemble animals including lionesses, hyenas, wildebeest, giraffes, elephants, meerkats, warthogs and birds.

The Christmas framing centres on the Pride Lands’ annual Festival of Stars — a winter celebration honouring the great kings of the past — which Scar cancels when he seizes power, and which is joyfully restored when Simba comes home. The script is written in clear, age-appropriate language with stage directions throughout, making it straightforward to rehearse and perform.
