Help children learn to recognise and name a range of sports and games equipment with this practical resource for EYFS and KS1.
The pack includes 3 colour worksheets and 3 matching black-and-white worksheets, each featuring six illustrated pieces of equipment. Equipment is named and on the black and white versions, there are dotted words for children to trace.
Children can colour the pictures, practise their handwriting, read and recognise new vocabulary, and use the pages for matching, sorting and discussion activities.
The resource also has activity ideas for games such as matching pairs, memory, and sorting into groups such as indoor and outdoor sports.
A planning sheet is included with objectives, instructions and resources needed.
Ideal for literacy, PE topics, speaking and listening activities, independent work, small groups or whole-class lessons. Link to Sports Day or special sporting events like the World Cup, Olympics and Wimbledon.
