Room on the Broom activities for EYFS and KS1, combining science, design and technology, maths, literacy, PSHE and creative art tasks.

This engaging printable activity pack is designed to accompany Room on the Broom and extend the story through meaningful cross-curricular learning. Children can explore flying objects, design and test a broom, practise early maths and literacy skills, discuss teamwork and complete two creative art activities.

The activities are suitable for children aged approximately 4–7 and can be used in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. They work well for whole-class teaching, small groups, independent learning, continuous provision, literacy lessons, maths activities, Halloween topics and book-based learning.
