This engaging OCR A Level Geography lesson explores the evidence that Earth has warmed since the late nineteenth century, supporting the enquiry “How and why has the era of industrialisation affected global climate?” Students investigate nine key indicators of climate warming, including rising surface, atmospheric and ocean temperatures, shrinking glaciers and ice sheets, rising sea levels, increasing atmospheric water vapour, and decreasing snow and sea-ice cover.
