Full French Lesson Plan - Introduction to Madagascar!

This French lesson plan is all about introducing your students to the wonderful francophone world of Madagascar!

First, students listen to a short YouTube video as a warm-up and complete multiple choice questions with some fun introductory facts to Madagascar.
Next, there is a small group activity (and competition!) done on the board that gets students to try and guess the correct information about Madagascar while “competing” against other groups.

After, is a Madagascar Intro Powerpoint (complete with French teacher notes!) that covers a wide variety of info about the country.

After the Powerpoint, is a final Kahoot! game that is based on the information that students are given in the Madagascar Powerpoint. A fun way to end the lesson!

The lesson takes 1 full class (75 minutes).
