This is a FRENCH LANGUAGE Webquest that focuses on les Micmacs and contains a complete answer key as well. Great for use in the classroom or as an assignment for online learning environments!

The Webquest is an overview of the culture, history and interactions of the Mi’kmaq with European settlers : where Mi’kmaq communities were located previous / where they are now, Mi’kmaq language and beliefs, treaties and other interactions with European settlers and how this changed the Mi’kmaq. The website is easy to follow and contains a lot of great information about the Mi’kmaq.

There are also extra videos / highlighted paragraphs of interesting information about the Mi’kmaq on the website that add value to the website. Make sure your students check out the video of Mi’kmaq teenager Emma Stevens singing “Blackbird” in the Mi’kmaq language!

24 questions with complete answer key (usually takes about 50 minutes to complete depending on the level of your students)
