An outstanding and very active lesson that support P1, P2, M1 and D1 of the level 2 NQF Unit 4 criteria. This is lesson could also be used to teach a sociology lesson as it cover the impact of primary and secondary socialisation.
The lesson is designed to last for an hour but can be adapted. It consists of differentiated learning outcomes, opportunities for feedback, an opportunity to plan and present a debate (teachers can use this to differentiate groups). It finishes with a current case study that prepares them for their coursework. The active element and opportunities for feedback allow a very capable but talkative class to stay consistently engaged with their learning. Enjoy
