This activity sheet for senior school and A-level students is written to generate discussion and debate about the key issues of car recycling including environmental protection, manufacturer responsibility, sustainability, circular economy and how students can think about the Global Car Recycling Day campaign. It is aimed at pupils from KS3, KS4 and KS5, with questions that can be answered simply or generate bigger responses through research and/or debate. This activity sheet can be used as either a lesson resource, after an assembly or as a tutor activity. The topics covered work as a standalone issue for PSHCE or enrichment but the main topics of recycling, environmental protection, regulations and circular economy also link in with the sciences, geography, economics and business. It鈥檚 the perfect follow up to the Global Car Recycling Day video that you can show, especially the extended version, which covers global economy and vehicle manufacturer responsibility. There are other supporting resources available related to this topic - activity worksheets and fact sheets.
