A focused GCSE French intervention lesson designed to help students improve their writing by using opinions, connectives and intensifiers confidently and accurately.

This lesson supports students in moving from short, simple sentences to longer, more developed paragraphs, a key requirement for success in GCSE writing tasks.

The lesson includes:

  • A wide range of opinion phrases and justification vocabulary

  • Clear modelling of how to link ideas using connectives

  • Explicit teaching of intensifiers to increase sentence quality
