The unit teaches beginners how to cut on the dotted line. Created for preschool, pre-K and kindergarten, it’s is a developmental cutting practice pack for young children learning to cut. I’ve also included a very detailed teacher’s guide to assist you when teaching safety tips, how to grip your scissors properly and step-by-step cutting. It has a variety of cutting skills sheets to start with straight lines, then curves and shapes, then objects. Some designs are easy to trim around, while others are more challenging and assist in developing skills. You’ll also receive clever ideas for scissor-based books, and fun and hole-filled activities that will help make learning all about cutting and pasting.
