End of Year Coloring Pages mark the last day of school with 40 printable sheets showing the schoolhouse, backpacks, and supplies from a first grade room.

A Walk Through the Designs

One sheet is built around the school building itself, drawn with a peaked roof, a flag flying from a pole, and the word School lettered on a sign above the door. That page gives children more architecture than they usually get in a coloring book, with window panes and roof tiles to divide up however they like. Elsewhere a cup holds a bundle of crayons at different heights, a tablet screen sits beside a chunky pencil, and an open book shows the split down its middle where the pages meet. Backpacks turn up repeatedly with straps, buckles, and a front pocket. A sun with triangular rays anchors the corner of one design. The title text shifts between stacked capitals and a softer mixed case, so the lettering never feels repetitive across the set.

Educational Benefits
  • Shape sorting happens as children separate the roof, walls, and windows of the school building before coloring.
    • Grouping and counting fits the crayon cup page, where the number of crayons can be counted aloud.
    • Wrist rotation develops on the curved backpack straps and the rounded lettering.
    • Sense of closure matters at this time of year, and a page about the last day gives children a way to mark it.
    • Pride in finished work grows when a completed sheet is displayed or taken home.
Ways to Use Them
  • Countdown to the summer holidays
    • Signing pages where classmates add their names around the picture
    • Memory folder for a child moving to a new school
    • Quiet activity during the busy final week
    • End of year assembly craft table
    • Home practice once school has closed
