Addition Coloring Pages put 78 printable sheets of simple sums in front of young students, with equations like 2 + 3 = 5 beside apples and calculators.

What Each Page Holds

The sums are written in hollow outlined numerals, so a child colors the equation instead of solving it on a line below. You will see 4 + 2 =, 9 - 3, and 2 + 3 = 5 spread across different sheets, sometimes as the main feature and sometimes tucked under a picture. One page draws a laptop with 1 + 2 = displayed on the screen, which is closer to how children see numbers at home. Another runs a ruler down the full height of the paper with its increments marked, giving a long straight shape among all the rounded ones. Large numerals such as 2 and 5 anchor several pages on their own. Around them sit calculators with gridded keypads, an open book with ruled lines, triangular peaks, a flower, and clouds.

Educational Benefits
  • Number sentence familiarity grows through repeated exposure without any pressure to answer.
    • Measurement curiosity starts with the ruler page and its marked increments.
    • Straight line control gets practice on the ruler and laptop edges, which is harder than it looks for small hands.
    • Symbol fluency develops as plus, minus, and equals signs become ordinary parts of a picture.
    • Sorting by shape happens naturally when a page mixes rounded and angular objects.
Ways to Use Them
  • Morning starter tasks
    • Math center rotations
    • Support sessions for children who find numbers stressful
    • Homework packs
    • Wet play boxes
    • Transition filler between lessons
