Unlike traditional decodable readers, The Repeater Series is not based on stories. Instead, each book uses a repeated sentence starter to provide focused, repetitive decoding practice. In this free eBook, every sentence begins with "It is " or “It is the…”, allowing beginning readers to concentrate on decoding while developing confidence and fluency.

This free eBook covers the graphemes a, b, d, e, g, i, l, o, r, s, t, u and w, the capital letter I, and the word is, where the grapheme s represents the phoneme /z/. Only CVC or VC words are included.

The eBook includes:

• 9 pages of decodable text.
• 9 pages of picture confirmation, with each illustration appearing on the page following the text to encourage children to decode first before confirming meaning.
