KS3 or KS4 lesson on Working Conditions during the Industrial Revolution.

This lesson鈥檚 objective is for students to understand how poor conditions for workers was during the Industrial Revolution. The lesson also challenges students to understand the strict rules and punishments that had to be followed and carried out.

This lesson tests a student鈥檚 ability to acquire research from different formats of information with engaging and interesting tasks. The lesson also teaches students how to analyse primary sources, a key skill at GCSE, as well as make a final judgement in deciding how poor conditions were

Content includes looking at Factories, Mines, working conditions, punishments, strict rules, primary sources and actual accidents that happened!
