A KS3 History lesson centred on the events leading to the outbreak of the Second World War.

Students will investigate Hitler鈥檚 aims and methods for achieving them, Germany鈥檚 first movements before war is declared as well as the British attempts at preventing a second, large-scale European war (appeasement).

There are two checkpoints in the lesson where students are challenged to display their understanding.
