One game. Different targets. One group!
What do you do whan you have a group of 4 children in your intervention group that are all working on completely different targets?
That was the problem that inspired Monsters Cafe.

instead of preparing four separate activities - or having to work individually with another - Monsters cafe allows children to play the same game while you adapt the task for each childs level.

One child can name, another can describe, another can follow instructions, the fourth can answer questions. Theyre all playing Monsters Cafe together!

Use the same game for different targets. You can use this board to work on:
Naming and vocabulary
Describing
Categorisation
Following instructions
Wh questions
Sentence building
Sentence building
Listening and attention
My turn, your turn
Counting
Early maths
phonics and sound work.

The activity stays the same. The learning target changes.
This makes Monsters Cafe particularly useful for mixed-ability intervention groups, where children are working at different stages.
You decide what the child needs to practise while everyone remains part of the same activity.

Whats included:
4 x Monster characters (printable)
2 x Monsters bowls
A large collection of different tokens
Full instruction guide complete with multiple game ideas and different levels

Ideal for:
Teaching assistants
SEN support
Speech & Language interventions
EYFS
KS1
Small groups
Mixed-ability groups
One-to-one work

Less splitting the game, Less preparing multiple different activities, More children learning all together. The only thing that changes is the level of instruction each child receives.

As with all the Speak, Play, Learn range all tokens are interchangeable so the more you own, the more learning opportunities you have.
