Final writing outcome

An action-adventure narrative in which a brave sister chases a chain of swallowing creatures to rescue her little brother. Pupils write a full story with a clear opening, a chain of fantastical beasts (each bigger than the last), a moment of rescue, and a happy ending. Pupils use capital letters and full stops, the joining word ‘and’ to build the chain, adjective-noun phrases for each beast, and exclamation marks at moments of high drama.
