Snus & Nicotine Pouches - PSHE lesson.

Snus is illegal in the UK because it contains tobacco, is highly addictive, and poses health risks. The ban aims to protect public health and prevent young people from becoming addicted to nicotine. The Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016 (TRPR 2016) regulates snus

There are also tobacco-free nicotine pouches, often sweetly flavoured, which some young people mistakenly believe are harmless. However, nicotine is an addictive substance, and the long-term health effects of these products—especially for young people—are not yet fully understood. For this reason, their use is not advised by the NHS, particularly for under-18s.
