Refugees, asylum seekers and internally displaced people are rarely far from the news headlines, but has this always been the case?

compares a painting of a refugee family from the 1930s with a photo of a family who fled the violence in Myanmar in 2018. Learners will consider the challenges both may have to face, and their shared humanity.
