A complete pair of original, exam-style predicted papers for OCR GCSE Computer Science (J277), designed for 2026/2027 revision, mock exams and independent study.

This resource includes:

Predicted Paper 1 — Component 1: Computer Systems (80 marks, ~1hr 30) covering Systems Architecture, Memory & Storage, Data Representation, Networks & Protocols, Network Security, Systems Software, and Ethical/Legal/Cultural/Environmental Issues, finishing with a 9-mark extended-response question.

Predicted Paper 2 — Component 2: Computational Thinking (80 marks, ~1hr 30) covering Algorithms, Trace Tables, Searching & Sorting, Programming Fundamentals, Producing Robust Programs, Boolean Logic, and Programming Languages/IDEs, with full programming and pseudocode tasks written in the OCR Exam Reference Language.

A full, detailed mark scheme for both papers, with model answers, mark splits, examiner-style guidance, a levels-of-response grid for the extended-writing question, a Topic Coverage Matrix, and a Predicted Revision Priorities checklist.

Both papers are laid out to look and feel like real GCSE exam papers — numbered questions, mark allocations, answer space, and increasing difficulty — so students get authentic timed-practice experience.

Please note: these are original, independently written predicted papers created to reflect the OCR J277 specification, common assessment themes and typical command words. They are not official OCR past papers, are not leaked or confirmed exam content, and are not endorsed by or affiliated with OCR/Cambridge Assessment. No question is guaranteed to appear in any real examination.

Ideal for Year 10/11 revision lessons, mock exam weeks, homework, or independent exam practice.
