Twelve ocean animals, three levels, one pack. This KS1 colouring and fact pack pairs line art to colour with short fact activities. It supports early science and writing alongside creative time.

Shark, dolphin, blue whale, octopus, green sea turtle, starfish, crab, seahorse, jellyfish, stingray, seal and clownfish each get three activity pages at different levels (Supported , Core , Extending ), so one pack works across a mixed-attainment class. Supported pages use draw-a-line matching; Core pages use sentences with a word bank; Extending pages ask children to write the facts themselves and add one more of their own.

CURRICULUM LINKS: Supports the Year 1 science programme of study (Animals, including humans): ‘identify and name a variety of common animals that are carnivores, herbivores and omnivores’. Children sort each animal using the ‘What Do Ocean Animals Eat?’ reference page. Each animal also covers what it eats, its baby, how it breathes, a key feature and where it lives.

WHAT’S INSIDE:

• 36 activity pages (12 ocean animals × 3 levels), each with line art to colour
• ‘What Do Ocean Animals Eat?’ reference page
• How to Use page explaining the three levels
• 2 answers pages at the back

GREAT FOR: KS1 classrooms, science lessons and ocean topic weeks, early finishers, wet play and quiet independent work.

FORMAT: One 41-page A4 PDF: cover, How to Use page, ‘What Do Ocean Animals Eat?’ page, 36 activity pages and 2 answers pages. Every page works in black and white; print single-sided. Print and go: no cutting or laminating. Written in UK English.

Licence: for use by the purchaser only. Print as many copies as you need for your own class or home; please don’t resell or share the file.
