Number Coloring Pages offer 40 printable sheets where numerals, calculators, and a protractor share space with flowers and open books for early math work.

The Designs in Detail

Measuring tools give this set its character. A half circle protractor sits low on one page with its degree marks drawn around the curve, and a straight ruler runs alongside with evenly spaced increments. A set square leans against a calculator on another sheet. Books open flat to show numbers printed on the paper, one with 123 across the page and another with 2 + 3 = 5. A thought bubble floats above a calculator holding the unfinished sum 6 + 2 =, which invites a child to say the answer out loud while coloring. Single numerals such as 5, 6, and 8 stand on their own elsewhere. Rounded flowers, a block eraser, percent signs, and crayons in paper wrappers fill the remaining space.

Educational Benefits
  • Tool recognition introduces the ruler, protractor, and set square long before children are asked to use them properly.
    • Curve and line contrast gives the hand two very different tasks on the same page.
    • Mental arithmetic is prompted gently by the unfinished sum in the thought bubble.
    • Digit recall improves through repeated contact with large printed numerals.
    • Concentration holds well on these sheets because the compositions are busy without being cluttered.
Ways to Use Them
  • Preschool and kindergarten number introductions
    • Fast finisher trays
    • Small group support time
    • Home learning folders
    • Wet lunchtimes
    • Practice before a geometry unit begins
