How can Parables help us find wisdom to live by?

Lesson is focused on how parabables help those looking for wisdom and guidance. Teacher answer sheet provided for the quiz task after the key reading.

Good if in a bind and need to set KS3 cover work which does not require a powerpoint or textbook resource.

I leave the following instructions alongside the booklets for the cover teacher:
• Please read through the key reading together – check understanding at frequent intervals through questioning (please try to use a mix of cold calling and hand ups – seating plan provided can be used to help with cold calling)
• Allow students 10/15 mins to try the comprehension questions and use the teacher answer sheet to circulate and assist students
• Pause the lesson to review work - Student can mark their own work and improve it with green pen
• Any student who finishes this can then complete the other extension activities in the booklet
