Help children become confident, critical and responsible users of media.

This ready-to-teach KS2 Citizenship unit introduces media literacy for the digital age. Pupils learn how to distinguish fact from opinion, recognise misinformation and fake news, understand how advertising influences choices, think critically about what they see online and behave safely and respectfully in digital spaces.

The lessons build questioning skills without encouraging cynicism, helping children become thoughtful media consumers and responsible digital citizens.

The pack contains 30 files, including a launch assembly, six no-prep Circle Time sessions, six complete lessons with presentation decks, a Teacher Guide, Knowledge Organiser and Pupil Reflection Journal.

Written for Years 3–6 and designed to prepare schools for statutory Citizenship from September 2028.
