Sub-enquiry question: How can we organise the history of crime and punishment over the past 1,000 years?
Learning Intention: To develop a chronological overview of crime and punishment from c.1000 to the present day.
Ingredients for Success:
I can place the main historical periods and significant developments in chronological order.
I can categorise examples of crime, punishment, and law enforcement.
Outcome: Children will create an annotated overview timeline divided into the four main historical periods and add initial examples of crimes, punishments and methods of law enforcement.
