This resource consists of a learning pack, around 140 pages overall, covering all of full theme 1 Aspects of French speaking society (3 themes: 1.changing family structures, 2. volunteering, 3 cybersociety) of the AS French AQA syllabus. It provides comprehensive preparation for the AQA AS French course through engaging activities that develop all four language skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking.

The resource includes authentic texts, listening exercises, translation into and from French, vocabulary building, comprehension tasks, summary writing, discussion questions and exam-style practice.

Grammar points are carefully integrated throughout, with a focus on the imperfect and perfect tenses, present tense revision, comparative structures, passive constructions, relative pronouns, complex sentence formation, opinions and justifications, and the use of connectives to improve fluency.

The materials progressively build students’ confidence while developing the linguistic accuracy, cultural knowledge and analytical skills required for success in the AS/ A Level French examination. Answers for each topic are provided in separate documents.
