Complete AQA GCSE Media Studies OMO advert CSP unit (8572): five ready-to-teach lessons plus a student revision booklet.

This advertising and marketing Close Study Product, the 1955 OMO washing powder advert from Woman’s Own (‘OMO makes whites Bright!’), is a Targeted CSP studied for Media Language and Media Representations, assessed in Paper 1 Section A.

Each 60-minute PowerPoint lesson is plug-and-play with full speaker notes: timings, model answers and differentiation, so you can teach it with confidence even if Media is your second subject, and save hours of planning if it is your specialism.

Lesson 1 sets up the advert and its post-war context;

Lesson 2 covers media language and persuasion;

Lessons 3 and 4 cover the representation of femininity, implied masculinity and stereotypes;

Lesson 5 builds exam technique and compares the advertising CSPs.

The A4 booklet becomes a full revision guide.

the actual 1955 advert is not reproduced in the pack (copyright); the teacher displays it.
