This Year 2 Cricket Skills Scheme of Work provides a progressive sequence of practical lessons that introduce pupils to the fundamental skills of cricket through engaging games and age-appropriate activities.

Throughout the unit, pupils develop their batting, fielding, bowling and running between the wickets while improving their hand-eye coordination, teamwork and communication. Lessons are designed to build confidence through small-step progression, allowing children to apply newly learnt skills in modified cricket games.
