A complete 6 lesson KS1 RE unit exploring the question:
What do Christians say God is like?

This unit is fully aligned with the Northamptonshire Agreed Syllabus 2025 to 2030.

Designed for real KS1 classrooms, each lesson uses short, structured learning steps and regular opportunities for pupil talk to support attention, participation and understanding.

Oracy is woven throughout, with structured questions and sentence stems in every lesson to develop vocabulary, confidence and reasoning.

Across the unit, pupils explore key Bible stories and begin to understand what Christians believe about God.

Lesson 2 The Lost Sheep God forgives
Lesson 3 The Prodigal Son God welcomes and forgives
Lesson 4 Calming the Storm God is powerful and protective
