This pack contains 2 x lessons with a focus on how the current cost of living crisis is affecting the lives of UK people - and why we are suffering a cost of living crisis in the first place.

  1. A detailed, differentiated and editable PSHE lesson which will last you roughly an hour (possibly an hour and a half) all about the current cost of living crisis. Inflation and the reasons behind it, both domestic and international, are explained in detail. Personal cases are examined, as well as the impact on people鈥檚 mental health. Can be used with KS3 or KS4 as there are a wide variety of tasks, all heavily differentiated.

  2. A detailed, differentiated and editable PSHE/Citizenship/Finance lesson which meets all the latest PSHE guidelines and will last you up to 90 mins. The lesson introduces what the economy is, what is happening with the UK economy currently, what key terms such as recession, growth and austerity mean, why interest rates have risen and what it all means for the everyday Brit鈥檚 pockets.

  3. An older lesson (but still a goodie! About being paid, budgeting, credit and debit (in the same folder as the cost of living lesson)
