I’ve put together these Remembrance Day resources to help younger children and pupils with SEND explore remembrance through practical activities, creativity and supported discussion. The collection brings together classroom learning resources and arts and crafts activities, providing different ways for children to take part.

Designed with accessible learning in mind, the resources offer opportunities to develop vocabulary, practise fine motor skills and talk about poppies, kindness and remembering others. Adults can support children through modelling, simple questions and time to share their ideas before completing each activity.

Ideal for learning around 11 November, small-group work or creating a thoughtful classroom display, this collection helps introduce a sensitive topic in a gentle, age-appropriate way.
