This resource is designed for quick Assessment for Learning (AFL) activities using mini whiteboards. Students answer questions individually and reveal their answers when prompted, allowing teachers to quickly assess understanding and identify misconceptions.

The resource focuses on the parts and properties of circles. Students identify different parts of a circle, including the radius, diameter, tangent, chord and arc.

Students also demonstrate their understanding by drawing examples, including a circle with a specified radius or diameter, and identifying or showing sectors and segments.

A useful low-preparation, interactive resource for checking students’ understanding of circle terminology and addressing misconceptions.
