Set of two PowerPoints made for Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair course - The first covers Steering . There are 46 slides in total and makes use of the animations that PowerPoint offers -This lesson covers all steering boxes and steering racks as well as power assisted steering setups and steering angles - Toe, camber, caster and ackermann. Everything needed to answer the IMI LV04 question set.

The second has 37 slides and covers suspension systems - compares independant and non-independant suspension systems, dampers, anti-roll bars and body movements - roll, pitch and yaw.

Be sure to use the slideshow feature or you鈥檒l have a lot of overlapping images.

There are some slides that may require answers to be revealed by clicking on the pictures or text - I have pointed these out in the slide comments.

I taught levels 1 up to 3 of Vehicle Maintenance & Repair at a further education college in the UK for 6 years delivering the IMI vehicle qualifications until Jan 2024 before I moved away from education.

I found the resources available to me when I started pretty poor and didn鈥檛 engage the students particularly well, so I made my own set of PowerPoints that cover pretty much all of it so far, so thought i鈥檇 share some of them up here and see if there鈥檚 any takers. If there is, i鈥檒l put them all up and hopefully they鈥檒l come in useful.

I don鈥檛 want to charge a ton for these, but a good few hours go into making these PowerPoints so i鈥檓 just getting a little back for my time and hopefully they come in useful for others.
