This lesson is on the theme of exploitation with regards to the unit of Human Rights and Social Justice. The pupils will be able to describe what is meant by exploitation. To explain the exploitation of the poor including issues relating to fair pay, excessive interest on loans and human trafficking, and evaluate religious attitudes to victims of exploitation.
This lesson covers the attitudes of Christianity and Islam.

This 50 minute lesson includes:

Starter and Plenary.
Oracy/disucssion tasks.
Several video tasks based on exploitation, human trafficking, and recognising the signs.
Statistic summary task.
Reflective and empathy developing tasks
Literacy tasks - summarising
Scriptural analysis
Explanation of key terminology that will be used throughout the topic.
