This single editable PPT aimed at KS3 French students revises and teaches a lot of vocabulary for different family members. It teaches the verb s’appeler and gives students practice in talking about what they and other family members are called. It excludes ‘nous’ and ‘vous’ but these could easily be added in. It also includes reference to mon/ma/mes and includes a summary reference sheet which could be printed. As well as practice translations, there is a dice talking activity, trapdoor activity and a noughts and crosses game. Answers are given for the translations apart from the summary reference sheet translations which could be set as homework and follows the same format.
This is a ready to teach first lesson on Family for your Lower KS3 students who have met some of the family members before. Page 3 is printable for students to fill in the English and answers are given on the following slide.
