Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde introduction that approaches context and introduces students to duality, as well as asking them to express their ideas on human nature and humanity鈥檚 relationship with good and evil. The lesson uses the example of Phineas Gage to get students to think about mind and personality. A fully differentiated and resourced introductory lesson to Robert Louis Stevenson鈥檚 The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. This lesson is ideal preparation for KS3 and KS4 students studying the text, including for the new spec AQA Literature Paper 2.
