Celebrate International Astronomy Day on 27 September with this engaging, ready-to-deliver whole-school assembly for primary schools.

This assembly introduces pupils to astronomy and the wonders of the night sky, encouraging them to look up, wonder and ask questions. Pupils explore key ideas including the Earth as a planet, the Sun as a star, the Moon reflecting sunlight and how observation and evidence help us learn about space.
