This is from a series of posters I made for revision of the characters in Frankenstein. They each display quotes that would be useful to revise for the GCSE English Literature exam. This poster is of Victor’s father, Alphonse Frankenstein.

Printed in A4 they are ideal for regular classroom use, while A3 produces a good wall display. You could also create individual revision booklets by reproducing these posters in A5.

Your purchase includes versions where I have removed the quites, the traits, or both. This will allow you to print out the ones to suit your chosen task. Students can be asked to fill in the information independently - for instance, finding the quites to fit the trait, etc.

As well as display, the complete poster can be given as a task for students to build on the quotes, linking each one to specific themes in the novel and/or explaining why the trait of the character is significant. Another common use is to inspire students to make their own for other characters.
