In this activity, students will examine the life and voyages of Captain James Cook, tracing his rise from a farm labourer鈥檚 son to one of Britain鈥檚 most celebrated naval explorers. They will also investigate the contested consequences of his Pacific expeditions, considering both the advances in European scientific knowledge and the impact on Indigenous communities.

It has 14 questions for students to answer, as well as a paragraph response section for them to demonstrate their understanding of the topic.
