This DOES NOT reflect the new Paper 1 question structure at all! Compare it to the CIE Specimen Paper 1 - the Summary question should now be numbered 2 (not 1f as it used to be), and should have a supplementary question; Question 3d should be the writers' effects questions and should give an extract (not merely "Re-read paragraph ___" as previously) from which THREE (not five) "powerful words and phrases" are chosen and the Directed Writing question is now Question 4, not 3. All VERY confusing, and a wasted opportunity to show students what the paper they will sit will look like. Very disappointing, as I wanted a practice paper that would clearly show the changes....I won't be able to use this at all: just glad I didn't buy the whole bundle.

This is a great resource which bridges the gap in past papers available for the new Paper 1 format. There is only one specimen paper available from CIE so this is excellent to use as practise for students.

Hi there - Really appreciate the resources, but do you have a more comprehensive mark scheme especially for questions 1f, 2d and 3. The CIE mark schemes are usually more detailed and that would be hugely helpful. Thank you so much
