This free, printable set of cut-out discussion cards is designed for individuals with ASD and those with social communication differences. It is intended as a companion activity to use alongside SLEducation’s other Dating and Relationships resources, giving students a low-pressure way to practise open-ended discussion and improvisation across the topics covered throughout the series — reading signals, message tone, online dating safety, and general dating judgement calls.

What is covered:

  • 20 open-ended scenario cards, each posing a realistic “What would you do if…?” situation
  • How to Use These Cards — clear instructions for shuffling, drawing, and discussing as a group or 1:1

Format: Printable PDF, 4 cards per page with dashed cutting guides

Suitable for:

  • Individuals with ASD and those with social communication differences aged 18+
  • 1:1 sessions or small group work, alongside other Dating and Relationships resources
  • SEN specialists, instructors, support workers, and parents

Note: This resource works best as a companion activity to SLEducation’s other Dating and Relationships presentations, providing a fun, low-pressure way to revisit and discuss concepts across the whole series. It does not include instructional content on its own.

All content uses clear, literal, and neutral language throughout. Resources are universally applicable, with no political, ideological, or religious content.
