, established through a partnership with King's College School, Wimbledon and Nanjing Foreign Language School, is seeking an outstanding to join our Bilingual Division from August 2027.
The successful candidate will teach English to Primary students, developing strong foundations in reading, writing, speaking and listening while building students' confidence, accuracy and independence in using English.
This is an opportunity to work with motivated young learners in a bilingual school environment, helping students strengthen their English language proficiency, literacy skills and readiness for Secondary School.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this English teaching position, candidates should have:
Degree in English, English Language, English Literature, Primary Education, or a closely related field
Recognized teaching qualification, license or certification, such as UK QTS/PGCE or an equivalent US, Canadian or Australian teaching credential
At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience
Experience teaching English at Primary level
Strong understanding of Primary literacy and English language development
Experience working with students for whom English is an additional language
Experience teaching within an international, bilingual, British or comparable Primary school environment
Able to meet Chinese work-permit requirements
Able to start in August 2027

Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured English lessons for Primary students
Develop students' skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening
Build students' vocabulary, grammar, comprehension and written communication
Encourage confident and accurate use of English in both academic and everyday contexts

Inspire students to engage with books, stories, writing and the wider English language

About Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science
Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science opened in 2018 through a partnership between Nanjing Foreign Language School and King's College School, Wimbledon, with the support of the Wuxi local government. Since opening with 750 students, the school has grown to a community of just under 2,000 students.
Located in Wuxi's Binhu District, the campus combines modern learning spaces with extensive facilities, including a multi-purpose auditorium, sports complex, 50-metre swimming pool, fitness centre, boathouse and landscaped grounds.

Opened in September 2018, Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science's mission is to educate well-rounded young men and women who will make a positive contribution to society. We support each pupil to reach his or her full potential through the foundation of three systems: academic, and .
With capacity for over 3,000 students, the school is growing rapidly and will have around 2,000 enrolled from September 2021.
The campus consists of:
- A pre-school for pupils aged 3 to 6 years catering for Chinese and expatriate children and offering a bilingual programme based on EYFS, international and Chinese curricula.
- A bilingual elementary and junior high school for Chinese students in Grades 1 to 9 who undertake the mandatory Chinese curriculum delivered with a modern pedagogical approach and additional English language instruction.
- An international school for expatriate students from Grade 1 to Grade 10, offering a British-style curriculum leading to IGCSEs with additional Chinese language instruction
- A high school for Chinese and expatriate students, providing a wide range of IGCSE and A Level courses. The IB Diploma Programme will be implemented from September 2021.
Our state-of-the-art facilities include a large multi-purpose sports hall, a 50 metre indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, playing fields, 400m running track, well-equipped laboratories, art rooms, drama studios, performing arts auditorium with capacity for 800 people and extensive boarding facilities. A river runs alongside the campus and a boat house has been incorporated into the campus design.
