Job overview
Academia Cotopaxi is seeking a highly professional educator and leader to join our team for the 2027-28 school year and beyond. A qualified candidate will have experience and training in teaching IB Theory of Knowledge and experience coordinating the IB Diploma Programme is preferable. Relevant job descriptions are attached and the projected breakdown of responsibilities are below:
60%: IB Diploma Programme Coordination
40%: IB Theory of Knowledge Teacher (1 section of year 2, 1 section of year 1)
20%: IB World School Coordination (Focused on guiding IB-aligned practices in grades 6-10)
Note: This position is established at 120% as there is an additional responsibility allowance for the additional 20% of role expectations
