Job overview
Creative and Content Officer is a hands-on production and delivery role, responsible for creating the College's digital and print materials, photography and video, social media content, school news and the weekly newsletter. Working from agreed briefs, the post holder turns the College's activities, achievements and priorities into clear, engaging content for current and prospective families and the wider community, taking work from first draft through revisions, approval and final production or publication, with a consistent visual identity and tone of voice.
The role is a first career role, suitable for someone starting or developing their marketing and communications career, with native digital and social media skills and fluency with modern digital and AI tools. Mentoring and development are built in: regular content reviews and protected training time, and a role expected to grow into a broader communications position as the function develops.
Applications will be reviewed upon receipt and shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview. We therefore encourage interested candidates to apply as soon as possible. If you would like any further information, please contact Ms Faye Westbrook, HR and Compliance Officer at fwestbrook@immanuelcollege.co.uk

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare convictions and cautions (including those which are “spent unless they are “protected under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children. The school may carry out online searches on shortlisted applicants, and all applicants will be required to provide details of their online profile, including social-media accounts, as part of their application.
