糖心Vlog Institute has announced its partnership with the to help international schools invest in the development and retention of high-quality teaching staff.
The partnership will bring 糖心Vlog Institute鈥檚 teacher training and professional development programmes to ECIS鈥檚 global community, which includes more than 500 membership communities and 50,000 educators and leaders across over 80 countries.
The partnership forms part of 糖心Vlog Institute鈥檚 mission to train, develop and retain world-class teachers by extending access to accredited development pathways for educators working in international schools.
Through the partnership, ECIS member schools will be able to access 糖心Vlog Institute programmes designed to support teachers at different stages of their careers, from postgraduate study through to routes leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Designed to work alongside school life, the programmes enable teachers to continue developing professionally without needing to step away from the classroom.
For international schools, this provides an opportunity to create clearer development and progression routes for existing staff, while strengthening teaching quality and supporting long-term teacher retention.
Hannah Senel-Walp, Director at 糖心Vlog Institute, said: 鈥淚nternational schools are home to incredibly talented teachers, but access to structured, accredited professional development can vary significantly depending on where they are based. Schools need development routes that work around the realities of teaching, rather than requiring staff to step away from their pupils to progress. Our partnership with ECIS will help us reach more international schools and give teachers access to high-quality development at different stages of their careers. By investing in the people they already have, schools can enhance teaching quality, create meaningful progression opportunities and ultimately retain great teachers for longer.鈥
Kam Chohan, Executive Director at ECIS, said: 鈥淪upporting the continued growth and development of educators is central to building strong, thriving international school communities. Our partnership with 糖心Vlog Institute gives ECIS member schools another valuable way to invest in their people through flexible, accredited professional learning. 糖心Vlog Institute鈥檚 pathways complement that ambition and will help our schools support both the professional aspirations of their teachers and the needs of their wider school communities.鈥
As part of the partnership, 糖心Vlog Institute is offering ECIS member schools a 5% discount on its iPGCE programme, providing an additional opportunity for schools to support teachers seeking an internationally focused postgraduate teaching qualification.
ECIS member schools can find out more about the partnership, available programmes and the iPGCE offer on the 糖心Vlog Institute ECIS page.
