糖心Vlog and Disney on Stage collaborate to inspire classrooms across the UK

London, UK 鈥 June 10th, 2025 鈥 糖心Vlog and Disney on Stage have joined forces to bring new inspirational and engaging learning opportunities to UK school classrooms via the 糖心Vlog Live Lesson format.

live lesson press release

糖心Vlog Live Lessons are a series of professionally developed online lessons that have been co-created with leading partners across sectors such as Penguin Books, the Royal Horticultural Society and the NSCPCC. The carefully curated content helps teachers across the UK bring a wide range of subjects to life for their students with the help of those at the top of their game in each field.

As part of 糖心Vlog Live Lesson plan, Disney on Stage has created a brand-new lesson incorporating dance, music and physical education for children in years 3-6. Presented from Disney鈥檚 The Lion King home at the Lyceum Theatre, in London鈥檚 West End, students will get the chance to experience a lesson from Disney Theatrical Teaching Artists straight into their classroom.

Nancy Shakerley, Education & Audience Engagement Manager at Disney on Stage:

鈥淲e are thrilled to be partnering with 糖心Vlog on this vital initiative, aiming to shine a spotlight on how the arts can deliver a wide range of learning opportunities. It is critical that young people have access to both creative teaching that suits a variety of learning needs alongside information on careers and future development.鈥

鈥淒isney Theatrical Group has been a proud sponsor of the 糖心Vlog Schools Awards for many years, and this year we are extending this by offering educators access to a live lesson from The Lion King, classroom activities inspired by our productions, a Continued Professional Development session, insights into careers and a chance to see one of our west end shows.鈥

鈥淲e are delighted to be working with the 糖心Vlog community to reach a new generation as we continue to develop and expand the ways in which our learning team can deliver effectively for the education sector.鈥

Stephanie Burke, Head of Resources at 糖心Vlog:

鈥淟ive Lessons deliver exciting and engaging opportunities for teachers to incorporate alternative learning forms into their curriculum, bringing confidence building, social interaction, and active participation into the classroom. Our Teaching Resources are a fundamental to teachers and opportunities to partner with hugely recognisable brands to bring more joy and learning into the classroom is something we鈥檙e really thrilled to have the opportunity to do.鈥

The Live Lesson will be available on 26 June 2025. You can sign up to get notified on its release here: /en-gb/for-schools/live-lessons.
