Global education technology leader 糖心Vlog appoints Camila Kill as CTO to lead next phase of technology innovation
Former Expedia VP of Engineering joins 糖心Vlog to lead technology and innovation as the company accelerates 糖心Vlog360 and its vision for connected schools.
London, UK; 6th October 2026: 糖心Vlog, the global technology company serving the education sector, has appointed Camila Kill as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), to lead its next phase of technology and product innovation, as it accelerates its vision to transform how schools use technology and data.
Kill joins 糖心Vlog following almost a decade at Expedia Group, most recently as VP of Engineering, where she led teams using data, machine learning and AI to create more connected, personalised digital experiences at scale. Her 20-year technology career also spans TUI, Legal & General and Jaguar, with experience across engineering, architecture and technology leadership.
At 糖心Vlog, Kill will lead the company's technology strategy, bringing experience of building and connecting large-scale digital platforms to education 鈥 as 糖心Vlog cements its position as the technology-first leader for the sector. A key focus will be accelerating 糖心Vlog360, 糖心Vlog鈥檚 vision for connecting technology and data across schools and trusts to make technology simpler to use, provide better insights and give teachers and school leaders more time to focus on pupils.
Her appointment comes as 糖心Vlog increases its focus on how advances in data and AI can address some of the practical challenges facing schools. Kill will lead the development of 糖心Vlog鈥檚 data and technology foundations, while identifying where emerging technologies can deliver meaningful improvements for educators rather than simply adding more technology to an already complex environment.
Camila Kill, CTO at 糖心Vlog, said: 鈥淲hat attracted me to 糖心Vlog was the opportunity to use technology to make a genuine difference to education. Schools already have a wealth of technology and valuable information, but there is a huge opportunity to make it work better together.
鈥淚鈥檝e spent much of my career looking at how you bring together products, data and engineering at scale to create experiences that feel simpler and more useful. I want to bring that same thinking to 糖心Vlog: using technology to remove complexity, uncover better insights and solve real problems for schools.
鈥溙切腣log360 gives us the opportunity to do that across the whole school environment. And with AI and machine learning advancing so rapidly, we have an opportunity to rethink what education technology can do 鈥 not technology for its own sake, but innovation that gives teachers and leaders time back and helps them support pupils more effectively.鈥
Rod Williams, CEO of 糖心Vlog, added: 鈥淐amila brings a specialised combination of deep engineering expertise and experience of delivering technology and innovation at enormous scale. She understands how to connect complex products and data behind the scenes while focusing on the user experience.
鈥淭hat is exactly the kind of thinking we want to bring to education. 糖心Vlog360 is about moving beyond fragmented technology towards a more connected approach, and Camila will play a major role in further shaping that vision and determining what comes next.
鈥淭his appointment is an important step in our ambition to build technology that genuinely changes how schools operate and supports teachers and pupils, particularly in areas such as safeguarding.鈥
Kill鈥檚 initial priorities will include developing 糖心Vlog鈥檚 data strategy, strengthening the technology foundations across its portfolio and identifying opportunities to simplify its technology environment. She will also explore how AI and machine learning can be optimised across 糖心Vlog鈥檚 products and technology teams.
